Hello, my name is Neeta. I am in America for about 25 years; I came in January 19th of 1992. So the day I came into America, I came with my two boys.

My boy was 6 year old and one was about 3 years old. Oldest one is named Happy the youngest Kenil. My husband was in America 14 months before, and when he came to pick me up at the airport, the feeling I had, because I was in India for 14 months without my Husband, and the feeling was so awesome when I saw him after 14 months. That time we did not have facetime or video calling I was talking with my husband about once a month or by letters, so my two boys were so happy to see him. Coming from a completely different world to the USA, English was the biggest challenge for me, and January was the coldest month for us because we grew up in India in the hottest weather and I had never seen this kind of cold in my life, it was a snowy day. We handled it well from all the clothing we got from India. That was the best day, when I came and saw my husband after 14 months, and my kids were so happy to see them. My husband was so excited, he got lots of toys for my two boys and he already had an apartment ready for us with all the groceries; he was alone but he had a lot of things ready for me. Then we started our life as of January 1992, so coming from a different world to America was the biggest challenge but after 25 years I am looking at myself and saying "thank god I came here" and I found myself, I learned English, and my two boys grew up. I had a third one after 12 years, his name is Kevin.

He is 20 years old, the middle one is 29 and the older is 31. I am always happy to see all my boys, and my husband. Thank you.
