TRANSCRIPT

My name is Punyapa Johnson. My age is 45 years old. I grew up from the northeast of Thailand. Before I came here I worked in Bangkok, which is the capital city of Thailand and I lived in there since I was 19 until 30 years old and then I fly here.

The first I came here, I feel [?]. It was very, very cold even at that time, I think fall. I was very nervous and I was frustrated about I don’t what the future I’m gonna be in here. At that time, I think I was crying all the time because I was homesick. I missed my family and my mom and dad.

It was very different from my country because I used to live in the big city. Everything like a big building. When I came here, the first town that I saw there is like a lot of tree and people looked different. I feel...I felt like I don’t know I could live longer. *laughs*
